| [TAIPEI, TAIWAN, 15 March 2006] The first e-Marketing Trends and Analysis seminar of 2006 closed amidst excited responses from various business sectors. Attendees at the event were captivated by Chief Operating Officer Young-Soo Lee's success stories in Korea. Many local companies that operate major online shopping malls, such as ETMall, were fascinated and very eager to gain opportunities on learning more of successful Korean methodologies.
During the seminar, Lee logged onto the website of e-Mart, a Korean wholesaler that achieved similar success for both online and actual channels. Lee demonstrated how e-Mart achieved one-to-one customer servicing and marketing, how it kept up with all its customers' behavior on its website and how e-Mart, through dedication, managed the maximum return on sales in its marketing efforts.
Also, associate professor Liu of Chung Yuan Christian University Department of Management Information System emphasized that Iinternet sales can no longer depend on guessing and intuition as previously done. Now, what is most needed is a crystal ball that allows anonymous visitors to show up.
At the end of the seminar, participants posed questions after questions on the current market situations in Korea and on problems encountered by online businesses during their venture into Internet marketing and sales. CCMedia Group is evaluating the possibility of inviting partners in Korea to come and share further their experiences and knowledge.
Openings for the second session on 22nd March are still available. Please click on the event banner or call Ms. Nancy Yu at 02-2655-2828 ext. 516 for details. |
